SERVICES

How the Psychological Center works

When you submit the online form, you will be contacted by one of our counselors and together you will arrange the first meeting. In the first session, together with the counselor you will specify what you are coming with and what your needs are. Subsequently, you will be offered appropriate services at the center. The cooperation is by default short term, with the exception of selected longer-term programs such as long-term group psychotherapy.

Individual support usually consists of up to eight sessions. If it turns out that long-term psychological or psychiatric care, or systematic psychotherapy, would be more suitable, we will provide you with contacts to other specialized facilities.

Due to the limited capacity of the Psychological Center, we provide a set number of sessions per request. However, you are welcome to reach out again with a new request at any time during your studies or employment at the university. Please note that we cannot guarantee assignment to the same counselor, although we try to take this into account. You will need to fill out the registration form again and indicate that you have already used the service. Appointments are subject to availability and priority scheduling cannot be expected.

Appointments are subject to availability. To ensure support goes where it is needed most, the center determines the order of consultations based on urgency and clinical assessment
