Petra Kolářová holds a degree in Psychology and a degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She completed experiential psychotherapeutic training at the Skála Institute and at the Institute for Person-Centered Psychotherapy and Counseling.
Petra Kolářová gained extensive experience through her work at all levels of the education system, both as a pedagogue and a psychologist. In her private practice, she works with children, adolescents, and adults, accompanying clients on a path toward self-acceptance and authenticity, and toward managing trauma and crises.
Petra Kolářová collaborates with a foundation that supports families with seriously ill children, children with diagnoses, and their siblings. At the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic, she and her team provide methodological support for school counseling facilities and internal counseling departments.
Professionally, Petra Kolářová focuses primarily on individual psychotherapy, supporting personal growth, and building self-worth. At the Psychological Center, she offers support in the areas of psychological distress, anxiety or depressive thoughts, finding one’s own direction, navigating one’s life situation, and managing stress.
