Mgr. Petr Vítek

Petr Vítek holds a single-subject degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, where he is now continuing his doctoral studies with a focus on psychotic experience, recovery, and trauma. At the same time, he is in pre-attestation training in the field of clinical psychology.  

Petr Vítek completed psychotherapeutic training at SLEA (existential analysis and logotherapy) and has completed a psychotherapeutic course focused on trauma therapy (PITT). Other courses include work with dual diagnoses, work with adolescents, psychotherapy of psychosis, polyvagal theory in the development of trauma, motivational interviewing, hagiotherapy, systemic therapy, a two-year managerial experiential training, and many courses in the field of social work. 

Petr Vítek gained work experience in social services for people with severe mental illness, in a psychological outpatient clinic, in his own psychological counseling practice, as a school psychologist, and as a coordinator of courses for peer consultants (people with lived experience of mental illness). 

Currently, he focuses on individual and group psychotherapy, psychological counseling, and the development and delivery of various courses.
