Mgr. Tereza Blažejovská

Tereza Blažejovská holds a joint honors bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and a single-subject master’s degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University in Brno, where she simultaneously did a master’s degree in Psychotherapeutic Studies. Since 2023, she has been enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Social Psychology and Work Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University.  

Tereza Blažejovská completed a one-year training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which she applies in her counseling work. She is currently in systematic psychotherapy training with a focus on integrative Gestalt. She has also completed a two-year art therapy course and undergone training in comprehensive crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, as well as other shorter courses. 

Tereza Blažejovská works at the National Institute of Mental Health in the Public Mental Health research program, within the initiative “Na rovinu”, where she has since 2019 specialized in destigmatization, focusing on interventions for reducing stigma around mental illness, self-stigma among people with lived experience of mental illness, and on communication of mental health stories in general. She now works in the initiative as a mental health prevention specialist. 

At the Psychological Center, Tereza Blažejovská offers support for individuals experiencing psychological distress, anxiety or depressive thoughts, and stress. She also focuses on providing support for people searching for their own direction and clarifying their life situation, and individuals coping with lived experience of mental illness with a strong emphasis on recovery-oriented care. In addition, she provides crisis intervention. She also leads ACT group programs.
