Mgr. Kateřina Urbanová

Kateřina Urbanová holds a single-subject degree in Psychology from the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the same department. She has completed extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and a variety of professional courses, including comprehensive crisis intervention and a clinical psychologist healthcare qualification.  

Kateřina Urbanová developed her skills in an outpatient clinical setting, where she conducted therapeutic sessions and assessments of cognitive disorders. She has long been working with patients with bipolar affective disorder and depression. At the same time, she coordinates clinical research at the National Institute of Mental Health and works on the digitalization of psychiatry using external devices and artificial intelligence. In addition, she provides counseling to victims of criminal offences and domestic violence. 

At the Psychological Center, Kateřina Urbanová provides counseling and therapeutic support in the areas of crisis intervention, anxiety and panic states, mood and sleep disorders, problems related to motivation, and the psychology of criminal offences.
